I bought them so that I can create my own photo greeting cards rather than spending countless dollars on store bought greeting cards for special occasions!
I have some January birthday for friends coming so I need to get moving on printing some of the photos so that I can mail them out.
Just in case you were wondering about the details...I started out by purchasing 50 blank cards with a bright white border and a think black stripe around where the photo goes shown HERE.
Example shown here of the card type I purchased:

I mentioned in an earlier post that I decided not to go with colored border (as much as I wanted a variety). My thinking was the black will go with most photos and if I ordered colors I may find that they are not matching perfetly with the photos. At this point with this project going simple will work best for me.
I'm so excited! I guess I should take a photo of my final product for the January birthdays and post it here. :)
Thought I'd also share a few other shots from tonight's editing:

Same photo but I applied the dragan technique to it and then I converted it to Black & White:

On this one I applied a B&W Photoshop action 5 times to darken the darkest areas and lighten the lightest areas. I like the effect it had on this photo.
yeah on the cards arriving!! And WOW on your newest edits....spectacular as always, Jen!
