Today I had the pleasure of photographing S. for her Communion portraits.
We started with some natural light photos of her holding rosary beads. S.'s mom is hoping to use these shots for the thank you cards for the Communion party.
I stood her next to a huge window with natural beautiful light shining in on her hands. I had her hold her hands a variety of ways with the beads so that there are many to choose from.
I applied a few treatments to the shots I liked most to give S.'s mom a variety to choose from.
These are probably some of my favorite dramatic details in portraits I've done. There's just someting wonderful about hands and what they can express.
MORE from this photoshoot can be seen HERE.
